.echo//Nowhere in NY

"I always make sure there's an opening in the room-an inch at the door, or maybe even in the window"

This week I've experienced an upsurge of pride, arrogance and outright lack of patience with an old friend. The metallic blindfold that this guy has welded onto his face frustrated me in the sense that despite trying to plead and communicate with at least the sense of hearing, it just wasn't going to work.

Yet at the same time in the most boiling point of that evening, God simply removed the dirt in my own eyes and I found myself shattered once again, staring at yet a refreshing image of my all too familiar self.

To this, I refer back to the memory verse I more or less forced the kids today at church into memorizing, even if for a simple Bible Buck...

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17

I strongly believe that if anyone can bring light, then it can only be done by one of supernatural compassion. No force can counter the amount of sheer greed and ambition within my friend other than Christ himself with an active loving hand.

I don't pray nearly enough for anything important.

Cheers to a new quarter.
